We are developing a healthy living programme together with the charity Green Tray. They already run a great food waste composting system at schools that takes food waste out of landfill and creates compost for growing vegetables that can then be bought by parents. We are adding to the environmental and healthy eating scheme by promoting active living via after schools sports training.

Social Ventures Hong Kong are involved in all kinds of great projects. We have been collaborating with the charity PlayTao which aims to alleviate the poverty problem in Hong Kong by providing a holistic after school programme for deprived children. Through collaboration with PlayTao we are now running very popular not for profit soccer classes for children at a school in Tuen Mun and looking to expand the programme into other schools soon.

The St. Stephen’s Society is a charity in the Shatin area that runs a variety of socially motivated programmes including a youth rehabilitation facility, and an alternative kindergarten. We are involved in a ongoing collaboration with them to provide soccer coaching on a not for profit basis for the young people in rehab. We also run adhoc soccer camps for the children of their volunteers.
